Hide covered Lines bow rocking horse

Bonnie, it is rare to find a hide covered rocking horse by Lines. She was fully restored in 2004, by well known makers and restorers Stevenson Bros of Kent. A detailed list of restoration work carried out by Stevensons is being sold with the horse. Bonnie has a natural horse hair mane and tail, glass eyes and a detachable leather saddle with fixed bridle.

The sportiboy range were popular models for Lines Bros in the 20s and 30s and no less appealing today combining quality with investment value. Although unusual, Sportiboys were also mounted on bows and possibly even rarer, finished as hide covered horses.
